The Download: Step-by-Step
Getting Firefox from the Firefox Download is quick and painless. The files load directly from Google's servers, not an anonymous mirror site. After you click on the download box, you will be taken to the Google hosted download site for the Firefox Browser with Google Toolbar.
Click on the Orange Download Firefox with Google Toolbar in the center of the screen. You will then be asked to Agree to the Terms and Conditions:
Click Agree and Install. At this point you should make sure that all applications other than your browser are closed. When requested, click save to save the installation file, "FirefoxGoogleToolbarSetup" to your PC's hard drive. Run FirefoxGoogleToolbarSetup. The initial install screen will look like this:
Click through the installation menu, choosing the options that are appropriate for you. Most people will choose recommended installation. After you complete installation, Firefox will launch to this homepage, and you are ready to start browsing with the friendliest web browser on the internet:
